Liane and Richard were married at the beautiful Clearwell Castle. Everything went very smoothly until the smoke alarm was activated due to a wet log that was placed on the open fire in the lounge. As Clearwell Castle is a Grade I listed building the Fire Brigade are automatically called on any fire alarm activation. So it was a bit of added entertainment for the bride, groom and guests that a genuine fire engine was in attendance at Liane and Richards wedding.
Fortunately the incident was short lived and the wedding progressed without a hitch.
