St Ives, Holiday Photography.

Hi All,

My Family and I recently had a week's holiday in St Ives, it's a place we really love. It has so much to offer, beautiful beaches, wonderful scenery and fantastic food. If the English weather is good, it's the perfect getaway!

I did have a small accident while on holiday, while walking on rocks, I fell with my two year old son into the sea, luckily Jake and myself were OK but my SLR, Lens and mobile phone didn't survive. So most of the photographs taken; were with my Canon Ixus 130 compact camera, not quite the same standard as the SLR but the pics didn't come out to bad.
You will be glad to hear, I definitely won't be trading in my SLR for the compact when I'm photographing weddings!

Aimee and Adam chose the Old Sodbury Church and the Hare and Hounds Hotel at Westonbirt for their wedding day. It was absolutely beautiful weather with such deep blue skies, a picture book wedding day for any bride and groom.
Karl photographed Aimee’s preparations at her parent’s home whilst Kate met up with Adam, his best men and the ushers at The Hare and Hounds Hotel. The two wedding cars were supplied by Englands Finest Cars, Jayne and Liz were the chauffeurs; it only feels like we worked with you ladies last week, oh, we did!! Small world.

We captured Aimee and Adam’s preparations and continued photographing up until their wedding speeches. We have photographed many weddings and listened to quite a few speeches, but Adam, your groom’s speech, which you wrote in rhyme, and recited without referring to your notes. Has to be one of the best speeches we have heard, and that is really saying something.
